I’m Wolf Matthewson, an editorial and fine art photographer based in Providence, Rhode Island. Since 2019, I’ve freelanced for Rhode Island Monthly, Newport Life Magazine, and Providence Media’s titles—like Providence Monthly and So Rhode Island—earning 16 Rhode Island Press Association Awards. My career kicked off as a Getty Images contributor, where I photographed National Parks across the country, fueling my love for vast landscapes and wild beauty. Today, I shoot it all: lively portraits, local cuisine, heritage sites, lush gardens, rugged coastlines, and starry skies, with a deep passion for New England’s unique stories. Recently, I’ve explored travel photography—capturing global adventures—but I’m always drawn back to the beautiful Ocean State, where I roam trails or chase the perfect night shot.
